Okay, I was a bit too eager with the push ups and wore her out. We will try again tomorrow!

Bumbo Seat

She really likes to balance her head so I broke out the bumbo seat. She loved it! We are working on core muscle groups today before breaking out the push ups tomorrow

We got our first "real" smile last week and now she wont stop! And I love it!! This isnt the best pic off of the camera phone but it sure gets the message across. Hooray for smiles!

Little Big Bertha

Well, growing up Chris's friends noticed he had an unusually large big toe. They named it Big Bertha. We recently noticed that Addison has daddy's big toe. Too cute...here is a photo named Little big bertha. Enjoy! It is even better in person.

Fun with Baby Einstein toy

Well, I am running out of ideas of ways to stimulate and entertain a 2 1/2 week old. So, I broke down and bought this Baby Einstein play mat. She loves it! So do I must admit. Anyone have any good ideas on how to stimulate and educate at this age??

Stubborn like daddy!

Addison is a stubborn mule like her daddy! I kid of course. A couple times when I tried to get her to nurse from the other side she purses her lips and frowns. Way too funny!

Hiccups

Addison had the hiccups in the womb like 2-3 times a day the last couple of months. Go figure she still gets 'em after she chows down now. Here is a cute, short video of her hiccups on her one (1) week birthday. Time is going way to fast!

What's with the name? My husband is from Chicago and just before we got pregnant we took our annual trip to Wrigley for a Cubs home game series. Well, Wrigley field is located on Clark and Addison and we both liked the name so it stuck!
